is to protect against severe illness and death, and the vaccines we have demonstrate outstanding performance in that regard...
The attached link explains the function(s) of our COVID vaccines in significant detail for those of us who aren't specialists in the field...you might want to pay special attention to the role of "T-Cells", and how they keep those infected from ending up in hospitals, ICUs, or morgues.
It makes zero sense to go unprotected from severe illness or death...so, all intelligent people choose to get vaccinated.

Prior to 9/2021, the primary purpose was to provide immunity.

vaccine that we still don't know the long term risks to for a virus that 99% of people will recover from? For the high risk population, they can't afford to take the risk.
symptoms that have significant impact on their "Quality of Life"...these are known facts. Given that there are no prizes for "Rolling the Dice", and hundreds of millions of doses show the risks of adverse effects of vaccination to be remarkably low...why not get vaccinated?...it's free, and readily available...
Yes, people in all age groups have died. But that's out of context, implying everyone is equally susceptible. When I look at the data, it is clear no one under 40 needs a vaccine if they are not obese.
Both my kids got Covid about three months ago and recovered with no problem. And this push to vaccinate kids 11 and under is especially criminal. Yes, I'm starting to regret participating in the Pfizer trial getting vaccinated and boostered. I just hope I did not compromise my long-term health by doing this.
even if vaccinated. You can still get and spread Covid even if vaccinated. I really don't consider a 99% survival as rolling the dice.
I'm starting to think Pfizer and Moderna are paying you kickbacks:-)
level that would make you want to get vaccinated for your own risk protection?...btw, the risk of paralysis from polio is also on the order of 1%...would you therefore not get your kids vaccinated?
The attached video is germane to the discussion of "Boosters", etc....hope it's helpful.

a person had something terminal before they got Covid. It's known that hospitals, etc. had every incentive to mark it as Covid to get more money. In the NE US, many unfortunately died in nursing homes that shouldn't have. In the end, "statistically" it's comparable to a bad flu season when looking at the country as a whole. I'm not against anyone choosing to be vaccinated. I also have no issue with anyone choosing to not be vaccinated. It's their personal choice. I work for a Vaccine manufacturer and believe me when I say "Money" is a very powerful incentive with all of this.
paralysis...nice deflection, though.
Your attitude toward vaccination is fundamentally anti-social...the vaccines were 95% effective against infection at the very beginning...had everyone lined up for shots, we would have stopped the spread and had one heck of a lot fewer deaths and hospitalizations...but no...way too many folks didn't care about anyone else but themselves and we ended up with "Delta"..."Omicron", and who knows what else might be brewing.
As for pharmaceutical companies...so long as they don't treat pricing of the vaccines like they do with insulin, I'm okay with them profiting off their outstanding contributions to public health.
You do you.
I’ll take the prudent and responsible path.
has turned into a circus, and I'm not dancing to the Fauci music anymore

Would likely have skipped, but traveling to Europe in June. So, best to err on the side of caution.
I was in Kailua (but not when I wanted to see the sun).

boosted whenever the government tell you to do so.
