Consistently, the university has been one the few institutions that did not ever disappoint. Not ever, not on anything that I can recall. I read a quote from Jon Bon Jovi about that a few years ago…..he said (paraphrasing) “rarely does a person or place actually live up to it’s hype, but Notre Dame does”. I couldn’t agree more. It will be interesting to see how many kids fly or drive in from all over the world to participate in the event. One would think that the hassle and expense would keep the numbers down, but it still had enough response to hold the mass on Sunday in the football stadium.
Can’t wait to see my child who works across the country from us now. They’re bringing what appears to be a future spouse. We meet the future in-laws tomorrow. Jim, what if it’s you?! That is a movie that I would watch! :)

Getting doubled up on tuition is going to be brutal. Can't wait to get through these years then hopefully join you not far off in the beautiful state of Florida!!
Didn't give any of us four kids a dime for college. My wife's parents did the same.
If they don’t take school serious and fuck up, they are on their own. So far it’s worked. Straight A students.
Notre Dame saved college football and beat Clemson during COVID with students in attendance the whole time.
The ivy league shut down for 18 months. Nuff said.
