and since black Americans aren’t real Americans, no problem!
Guns are no issue and mass-murder by assault weapons is no issue at all.
It’s not the guns - it’s whatever we can deflect to that should make us all feel better.
How could I have been so wrong all this time.
…while doing its best to cut off aid to single moms.
It’s deflection from what it desperately does not want to talk about, the one variable that accounts for our violent society.

And we incentivized single mothers on government benefits to have more kids and not work.
great dad.
As an immigrant, if I look at America as a country, no doubt it's on top of the world. But if I look at America in detail down to American families, too many broken families, too many dysfunctional families, America is in the bottom of the world. I don't believe a senseless mass murderer of 18 years old like the one in Uvalde, Texas can come from a family (either rich or poor) full of care and love.

he can to keep his own family from breaking...repeatedly...do you? Maybe you'd like a "Mulligan" on that example. But you're right, we should all do our best to be exemplary husbands and fathers.
To be fair, there are times when divorce is the right path, like when one's husband is sleeping with a born star while that wife is nursing her newborn son...man, you can sure pick 'em, ELI.

if that counts toward being a "good dad".

Effects of a broken family. No substitute can replace a strong mom and a great dad.
dealing with the problem?...the answer is of course...none...just make a vague speech about the value of strong, two-parent families then turn your back and walk away...but "thoughts and prayers", or berating those in such a condition hasn't worked..the issue takes wise and committed leadership...and dare I say, funding...something that the GOP will fight against...just because it's what they do...
Just saying "Get, and stay, married" over and over again won't solve this problem...what policies do you favor that will turn things around?

you're looking to Donald Trump for ANY example of proper human behavior.
it out loudly. I will cheer him/her with you.
status, and if not what does he, or you suggest we do about the situation?

other non-gun suggestions do you want to share...let's see what we can all get behind and encourage our elected leaders to take action on.

control is plutting a finger in a leaky bucket
As for me, I believe that Conor's previously submitted list of actions would go a long way toward dropping the mass shootings such as we're seeing in Uvalde, Texas...
When it comes to the problems in Chicago and other large cities, IMO the causes are deep and wide, but attacking the ever widening wealth gap is part of the solution...it is grossly unfair to 90% of Americans, but especially to those in the lower economic strata of America...once we start caring for every citizen's well being that demonstrated message of inclusiveness will reduce the stresses and increase the hopefulness that's needed to reduce the level of gun violence.
But enough of my thoughts...what are yours?

why not step up to the plate and let everyone know how you'd resolve some very serious problems facing America right now.

we'll never know what wisdom might lie buried inside you...kind of sad really that you can't summon the courage to share it.
who relies on links from others exclusively. Just stop chastising others for yr MO
vision of the right way to reduce gun violence?
You are a condescending prick.
I think you could be a bot cause no human being could be such an asshole
