to protect what they would have achieved after Donbas campaign. The ball will be in hands of Ukraine by then. It will be Ukraine's call to either start counteroffense or start serious negotiation for peace.
I think Ukraine will try a big campaign at least once to take back Kherson Oblast before serious peace talk with Russia. By doing this Ukraine can tell U.S. they have done something with $40 billions aid and haven't wasted that money. I think Ukraine will eventually lose counteroffense in Kherson. But it's going to be months long campaign.
As everyone knows I've been to Ukraine and my heart bleeds for their suffering.
I want it to end asap.
Putin can have his "victory" in the East. He's already destroyed everything there.
As long as the rest of Ukraine remakns free and has access to the Black Sea I can be happy.
I hope we are leaning on Zelensky... and that he can be realistic.
