straight. Get out your links. This guy knows nothing he’s only been in the oil business for years.

Proven Oil Reserves at current consumption rates...I don't make up these numbers...they are from the best sources we have and you should know this...the U.S. "Energy Information Agency" (EIA) is THE SOURCE that everyone relies on...also British Petroleum (BP) is another very trusted source...btw, the estimates for Alaska's 'ANWR' field range from 4 to 11 Billion Barrels of oil...given our ~7 BB/yr consumption, that gives us a few months to a little over a year "Extra"...any other numbers for "Unproven Reserves" get more and more speculative.
The Billionaire Oil Baron's comments are not unexpected...his ox is being gored and he doesn't like it...totally understandable...BUT, the facts remain as I just stated...

"Un-discovered" reserves...pretty sketchy and weak when you've only got 5 years of known/proven reserves and those "Unproven" reserves might not show up before we run out...the smart play is to hang on to what we've got and shift to other energy resources that can definitely provide heat and power.
lets hope that 100 is ok. but electric is not yet. You act as if it is. when electric is here I'll be the first is acknowledge it.
Experts also predicted NYC would be under water by now.
Why would people be skeptical?
1,500 years...does "5 years" make you more or less sanguine about our situation?

position. I could post numerous links that say they are wrong. What have we proven. Do you know that no one even considered shale oil or tar sands just 15 years ago. Why didn’t BP and the EIA know about it?
What about technology at the end of drill bits that search for oil pockets? Did they exist 15 years ago. You have no clue what technology or oil fields that are yet to be discovered. Do you?
decades under both GOP and Dem administrations...from the attached EIA link...
"EIA is the nation's premier source of energy information and, by law, its data, analyses, and forecasts are independent of approval by any other officer or employee of the U.S. government."...i.e. it is a completely independent and non-political agency.
btw, I'd like to see your sources that supposedly counter the EIA's finding of ~5 years remaining for Proven Oil Reserves without imported oil.

How about the CDC and NIH, Covid is nothing worse than the flu. Masks on, Masks off. Once you get the two vaccines you won’t get Covid again.
Bob MacNama and Johnson lied for years about our progress in Vietnam. We should take the Taliban in less than a year. Twenty years later a cluster fuck evacuation.
What more intelligent government information from our government do you got. Why you choose to believe the EIA and DOE that have an agenda to rid our country of fossil fuels shows your agenda.
And explain why the us is buying crude and petroleum products from other countries and how it reduces our CO2 emissions.
No it’s just a money transfer to our enemies. Doesn’t do a thing for our CO2 emissions.
Don’t you agree?
It’s like predicting Ford has only four months of operations until it goes bankrupt because their current cash balance will only cover that much.
But, you know that. You are always intentionally fudging your stupid takes by being dishonest. Every fucking day.
in "Unproven" reserves?...absolutely...but are you willing to bet our future on finding ten times more than what we know of...FAST?...because if you're wrong on that, we're in a world of hurt...even if we got lucky and find 50 years of reserves, that's still a very 'finite' amount that will need to be replaced...why not start shifting now and save this precious resource for all the myriad needs that can only be served by oil and gas?
Note: the untapped ANWR field is estimated to have only a few months to a little over 1 year of reserves, and that's a big find for us...what confidence do you have that we'll uncover 50 more?
btw, let's not forget the ever increasing CO2 atmospheric concentration and it's effect on Climate Change.
