Democrat gets anyone excited especially after the heaping pile of shit Biden will leave them. Name me three from the democrats that can win the presidency in ‘24? The leaders of the party are older then dirt.
You put Ron DeSantis at the top of the ticket and Nikki Haley at VP it won’t be close.
from "Big Sky" country...3rd generation farmer...worth keeping an eye on him.
Meanwhile, In 2024, Republicans are going to have quite a lot explaining to do...e.g. silence, if not outright support for Trump's democracy killing coup, as well as his many screwups (e.g. COVID-19, JCPOA)...potential overturning of Roe v. Wade and it's impact on every woman in the USA...inaction on any gun control...no ideas on how to make Health Care better...denial of Climate Change and a 'doubling down' on Fossil Fuel usage...etc, etc.
I mean I know it means a lot to you. But you're a partisan hack. But there are others here...Connor for instance who I think are genuine and sincere. But I think to the average person, and much to your chagrin, it just ain't moving the needle. By January 10 it was pretty much over. It won't be much of a factor, aside from people like yourself, come 2024. 20M viewers or not (that you got excited over that, by your own words, a Sunday night football game is fucking hysterical on its own!)
Now you can be mad about it, or me, or the other 310M that didn't tune on Thursday. Or the dozens of wapo opinion piece that I'm sure you'll immerse yourself in over the coming weeks. I think that's what annoys you most..people just don't agree with you. It usually upset very arrogant people. You fit the bill. Perfectly.
Sent from phone. Forgive typos.
candidacy in 2024 vs. any Republican opponent...as the Jan. 6th House Committee hearings are showing, it is a big deal to a lot of people, and as a result of just the first hearing, more and more people...including attorneys who are very close to all things "Trump"...are expressing their opinion that indictments are very likely now...indictments that will lead to trials that will be capturing attention for the foreseeable future...most likely right up to the 2024 elections.
You could just disagree with me and state your reasons and justification for doing so, but for some reason(s) you've gone off on a rant (again)...basically saying you don't like me...I get it.
If you'd like to achieve some level of resolution, feel free to Bmail me and we'll discuss it...or you can do it in public here...your choice.
Meanwhile, I'll do my best to express my own opinions, often with backup, on issues that clearly concern others...but always with a goal of reaching true understanding.
Back to you...
btw, I'm glad to hear you respect Conor's opinion...hold that thought.
It doesn't mean a lot. It doesn't mean it doesn't mean anything. It does. But not for most people, not to the extent you want it to. And these "hearings" if anything will have the opposite effect. You're fooling yourself. If indictments are forthcoming they will be lower down the food chain. Trump will in all likelihood skate in all this.
The other line items, well...the economy ain't turning around tomorrow. And for all his Putin Price hike bullshit, people ain't buying. Supply chain, Afghanistan, Ukraine, gas, inflation, crime, radicals lefts and greenie loons....people lay ALL that at Bidens doorstep. And that stink will be on the dem candidate assuming sleepy packs his bags and fucks off back to Delaware.
The midterms will likely be a bloodbath for the Dems. And I fully expect pubs to exact their pound of flesh....their version of hearings on January 6 as payback. Hunter and his bullshit. I know you think that's fake too. The Bidens dealings in China and Ukraine etc. you're going to be a very unhappy person.
With all due respect, you a massively misreading the room in this one.
Right behind Caitlyn Jenner on the board. Seriously.
John Fetterman, the stroke-victim Bernie Bro who is running for PA Senate is also higher on the board than Tester.
a Moderate Democrat from Montana would certainly gain the attention of Moderate Republicans as well as Independents...also, let's not forget the 'baggage' I mentioned that any Republican candidate would have to answer for.
Tester could have a problem with the far left segment of the Democratic Party, but then no candidate is going to be everyone's first choice.
Again, it's a bit early to call favorites...even a 'dark horse' could win the nomination...look at Lincoln.
And to top it off urban crime, deficit spending and drugs.
let's address each of your "points"...
INFLATION...
>Started with COVID-19...first, Trump's $2.3T Relief spending...then Biden's $1.9T Rescue program...the SF Fed calculated a ~3% increase in inflation due to these measures, however, it also said that the threat of 'deflation' for not enacting these measures would have a worse effect on the economy...therefore the right moves...and well within the capacity of the Fed to deal with.
>Then there was the rapid 'DOWN/UP' impact on Supply Chains from rapidly changing demand during the first year of COVID...followed by the sudden oil supply shock due to Putin's assault on Ukraine and the necessary reaction by Europe, the U.S., and other nations...neither of these factors were created by Biden or the Dems...
>With COVID beginning to morph into the "Endemic Phase", that aspect of inflation should abate before too long...however, the challenge of ensuring that Putin is not successful with his aggression means that we must deal with that factor for an uncertain period of time...it will definitely continue to require exceptional effort...and some degree of sacrifice...on everyone's part...
>The best way of dealing with the oil/gas price problem is to get those with "disposable" oil/gas reserves to increase production to offset the restrictions on Russia...Biden is actively working on th
>Inflation is a worldwide problem...due to the reasons mentioned...again, not Biden's/Dems fault.
GAS...
>See above.
WAR...
>Not sure what you're implying here...Biden exited Afghanistan...and had nothing to do with Putin's decision to invade Ukraine...
IMMIGRATION...
>Lawful processes are being followed...just as they have been for decades...however, as has unfortunately been the case for decades...there has been no 'meeting of the minds' between both parties that addresses issues like "DACA"...this is a shared responsibility.
>Recent surges in legal/illegal entry are due to crises, both political and natural, in other countries...the Biden administration is in no way responsible for those surges, and they are not only dealing with them lawfully, they are working to reduce the numbers by going to the countries from where immigrants are leaving.
INTEREST RATES...
>Actually, long overdue plan to increase rates...after the "Great Recession", folks just couldn't pull themselves away from the Zero Interest candy store...couple that with the COVID and Putin Invasion shocks, we have a real challenge on our hands...but voting in the same party that enabled the "Great Recession"...fought measures to see that it didn't happen again...and thought an unpaid for Tax Break for corporations and the most wealthy was a great idea...borders on insanity.

If there were any pro-choice Republicans, that is.
Particularly if Liz pretends that she's the lesbian one and not her sister.

They think she's a Russkie agent.
There is an R cabinet spot waiting for her in 2024. Doesn't belong in that Marxist socialist communist BLM / antifa loving D party.
so far left. Tulsi Gabbard would be decent but she really isn't a democrat.
