Former Attorney General Bill Barr: "The law is crystal clear" and that "protests at a judge’s residence to influence a judge is a federal crime, and the law should be enforced."
"The Administration’s talking point that it supports the First Amendment is a non-answer," Barr said in an email. "The right to protest has always been subject to reasonable ‘time, place, and manner’ restrictions, like the federal law prohibiting demonstrations outside a judge’s residence."
The brilliant Sen. Tom Cotton was more blunt about the issue:
"His (AG Garland) primary job is to enforce the law, and he has failed totally," the Republican senator continued. "If he won’t resign, then we’ll impeach him once Republicans control the Congress in January. Either way, he is finished."
This behavior is unconscionable given the recent attempt on Justice Kavanaugh's life. It does however fit with Dem Sen majority leader Chuck Schumer's call to make Kavanaugh "reap the whirlwind", and attack him so that "he doesn't know what hit him".

It IS a never ending quest.
complete bullshit. On top of hockey being too manly for Chris, these hearings are like Christmas for the Dems. No way in hell he was going to miss them.

GOP potentially made a big mistake not waiting for Breyer to step down before confirming as they normally do. Hopefully, no violence or "sudden deaths" will happen.

though. The only grass in my neighborhood growing up is what my brother used to sell. No farm lands either. But I guess I carry that name from the scumbag, self appointed "elites".

like the federal law prohibiting demonstrations outside a judge’s residence." AG William Barr.
Further, there has now even been an attempt on the life of one of the SCOTUS and his family. You don't think that represents intimidation with the Dodds ruling still in progress?!!! The AG is not at all "limited" in what he can do. he can arrest protestors and make the situation safe again.
You are lying - to us and yourself. You don't believe this crap answer. The law specifically adresses it.

assholes? Thanks for coming around.
He rationalizes for a living. I don't expect differently here.
Law.
(If you think that's what the ending meant...)
same as Joe doesn't mean all the stupid shit he spouts. At least that is what his UHND Translator tells us.
But apparaently that doesn't apply when the POTUS is a Democrat. They run a primetime, kangaroo court-like investigation when Trump actually said to protest peacefully, the Left flew in professional protestor plants to foment, Pelosi received National Guard support but then refused to deploy them on Jan 6 and now the committee won't allow questions about it, guards waved people in to the congress, and a few hundred people (other than the paid liberal protestors in disguise) mostly milled about as if in a shopping mall. The professional protestors arrested were released without follow up charges while the conservatives are being prosecuted to the fullest.
Now the Left's top leaders (POTUS and Sen Majority Leader) specifically call out targets on the SCOTUS by name and encourage violence, an assassination attempt is made on both Kavanaugh AND his family (the guy said they were also his target and he had zip ties to go with his weapons), and the AG won't even enforce the law of protecting the judges at their homes because they don't like the way the justice might vote on abortion.
I get a kick out of the cries of "whataboutism" that occurs all of the time because of the extreme hypocrisy being exhibited. But, in fact, the one sided application of rules and laws is one of the greatest causes for the divide in our country. The liberals want to enforce restricitions and rules in one direction only. The conservatives have had enough of it and are starting to push back.
For good or for ill, Pubs are going to light up this administration.
-and it's pretty clear that some took it as a call to kill Kavanaugh. We've already had one attempt now. The guy saw that he was spotted by police, and then (conveniently) called 911 as the officers moved to arrest him to say that he needed mental help (I suspect this was the planned fall back plan, and I doubt that he acted alone).
