On his Fox News " Prime Time " show, Jesse has been relentless in peeling off the layers of the stinking onion, known as the Paul Pelosi DUI.
Through his efforts he has gotten a mug shot and now a formal DUI charge. He has met resistance from Napa County DA Allison Foley and many others in his pursuit, but the facts continue to dribble out: both cars were totaled in the crash; the other driver was injured; and there was a passenger in Pelosi's car.
Though 82, Pelosi has been known to have a roving eye and there is speculation that his passenger was another woman. Nancy was back East at the time of the accident, so there is a full court press to keep these facts hidden. But Jesse is a press breaker and he won't stop.
As Jesse keeps pointing out, this matter reveals two realities of modern American life:
1. Liberal privilege
2. A two-tiered justice system
Paulie Pelosi is the beneficiary of both.
But thank God that there is a real journalist like Jesse who will go against the machine. And Jesse has fun doing it, too, with his smart ass, sarcastic and humorous style.
As he he says when he signs off his show with a wave of his arm, " Remember, I'm Watters and this is my world!"
