The court was never the proper venue to create a law on abortIon …everyone knew it, even RBG. The SCOTUS cannot rightfully base an opinion on popularity polls or their personal beliefs. Their job is to interpret the constitution and the laws.
If people want abortion laws passed, one way or the other, they need to do it through the appropriate venue - our elected officials in each state.
Great Britain which very sadly chose a pro abortion path, did so not through its courts by edict but through the electorate body. For this reason, they have never had the raging abortion debate that has paralyzed our country for the past 49 1/2 years, and has influenced every level of our body politic.
The work begins in each state now to protect the unborn and to convince and sway hearts. There is no longer an edict from 5 liberal judges that they had no right nor power to make. It is in our hands as voters to protect the right the life of the innocent unborn for the first time in half a century. Let’s get to work.
legalization of abortion has only increased...again, this is not progress...there will always be states that violate fundamental women's reproductive rights and force them to carry to term pregnancies that were forced upon them, due to a minority of insensitive zealots...like Baron.
The ramifications of this decision will become very obvious, very soon...IMO the GOP will receive considerable backlash over it and call for legislation to allow abortions once again, in all states...without draconian conditions...e.g. "Roe v. Wade"...too bad it will take so much time, suffering and heartache...while all the time refusing to act on truly effective measures that reduce the "Unwanted Pregnancies" which lead to abortion.
Reproduction has already occurred. But, either way, abortion is directly in opposition to reproduction.
Or, are they not allowed to govern themselves anymore?
If there is political backlash against the GOP, then there is no need for violence in the streets, or assassinations of justices. I hope the Left thinks like you on this, that they only need to vote to solve this problem. After all, that is what SCOTUS has said: Use your right to vote to decide was it appropriate for you.

….and specifically NOT the federal government. Pretty basic. Even liberal judges and abortion advocates knew Roe was not legal…that’s why they were so worried about it for so long. It was unconstitutional.
That’s the American Constitution. Not sure what constitution you follow.
