Won't this be fun.

You guys make him look sympathetic, which really is an amazing feat, if you think about it.
Anyone who views these hearings as a circus has lost all perspective.
History and US standing abroad demanded that the select committee do the work they have done. The fact that Trump supporters have taken so many cheap shots at the presentation reflects the powerful and compelling impact the hearings have delivered.

false hearsay.
Trump did, however, IMO try to lead what he knew was an armed mob in an attack on the Capitol...so there's that.

The Constitution has no requirement preventing a convict from running for president, and state limitations on who can be on the ballot are usually struck down. Witness California trying to keep Trump off the ballot last time with the tax return requirement. (Not surprising. The Left hates democracy.) Otherwise, a president could just put his opposition candidate in jail, like Wilson did with Debs. Debs had gotten 6% as an socialist candidate the election prior...votes probably taken from the Democrats.
An impeachment conviction, I grant you. Is that what you are talking about? I was talking about a criminal indictment. But, to that point, another impeachment would also revitalize him in the public eye.

The only real way he doesn't get the nomination is if he is indicted & convicted.

Or "against the field?" How much does Biden lead against the nameless Democrat field? Hardly an indicator of support.
I don't know any Republicans personally who like Trump personally (although they all like his policies).
Granted, my mother and mother-in-law both think poor Donald Trump is unfairly persecuted by the mean Democrats...which is why you guys should stop attacking him and let him sink his own ship. If they only heard him, and not the left, they would likely move on. But, what do I know.
Hearings, threats, fabricated lies, lawsuits, play along weakling Rs, racist name calling. It's all there. Is DeSantis tough enough to withstand the 24/7 barrage of negative press, led by the media? We will see. As I have said, DJT takes the reigns in 2024 and DeSantis takes it for the next eight after that. That's 12 years of flipping the bird to Canada and our other "allies". Twelve years of court picks. Twelve years of wall completion. Twelve years of deportations. Twelve years of tackling the drug, homeless, and crime problems. Twelve years of energy independence. Twelve years of sending these "Catholic" leaders back to the reminder of who they are and what their actual calling is. Twelve years of celebrities "moving" out of the country. Yeah, right. Twelve years of late night talk show, SNL, and award show outrage.
The only way to keep Trump off the ballot is to prosecute him.
Otherwise, he will be the GOP's candidate in 2024.

You think Garland is going to touch any of this? In a court of law all this nonsense gets exposed.
But you can't tell these guys different. It's become a religious calling at this point.
