Biden summarized the impact of Roe's overturning on women all over the country, both today and for the future...he outlined his Executive Order and signed it.

Handled it very well and got the message across clearly...especially to the women of America...

The court's opinion did not say that abortion was illegal, it did not say that abortion was legal, what it did say was that there is nothing in the Constitution that either supports or denies abortion. Thereby, it is a matter for the states pursuant to the 10th Amendment or the congress.
I am not going to argue the policy issue; the SCOTUS does not and cannot make policy, but the fact is that one party holds the power of two of the three equal branches and that party holds the presidency, the house and the senate.
I think his calling out the SCOTUS as making bad policy is as much as calling for insurrection in that the SCOTUS is a co-equal branch of government. He is saying that the SCOTUS has done something that it does not have the power or authority to perform, that is a far cry from our system and setting policy is not within the realm of the SCOTUS.

not...I have to believe that the those six Justices did their homework and were aware of why Roe v. Wade came to be...i.e. pure chaos amongst the states, with essentially zero chance of getting a legislated compromise...they knew what they were doing...they have consigned all females in this country today...and in for generations to come...to a life of fear...don't try to put lipstick on this one.

Now, as for Sam Brinton and "Rentboy"...you need to read his Op-Ed...all of it...and when you do, you'll get a glimpse of what life is like for today's LGBTQ community. The center point of all things LGBTQ is "SEX"...it would be very nice if it weren't, but it is, and Sam being quite public about his own situation empathizes with the plight of fellow 'members'. When sex is involved, there's going to be the 'baggage' of "Sex Work", or prostitution...even in the 'Straight' community (see link)...so, it gets "complicated"...note that even in the U.S., prostitution is legal and regulated in Nevada.

No one on the sexual preference spectrum should ever support 'sex trafficking'...i.e. coercion and control of unwilling participants...on that score, Sam noted in the Op-Ed that he didn't know if the website had broken the law...the fact that he mentions this caveat implies he would not support it...and turned his focus on the 'real world' as he sees and knows it for LGBTQ "young adults"...his term.

My take from his Op-Ed is that the "Root Cause" for LGBTQ young adults getting caught up in such behavior is because their families have rejected them and left them virtually no other option...maybe you can shed some light on that opinion.

Bottom line...Sam Brinton is a very smart and successful nuclear technologist who has never harmed anyone...and no matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to disprove those facts...hating and discriminating won't make you or the situation any better.
