Why does media blur the face of the perps, but not the faces of the cops?
Disgusting that the Dems let the guy and the girl go hours later.

Ironically, for decades they used this tactic in the South for many decades to enrage white bigotry.

These are not serious people.

DA Alvin Bragg. They would also call on Adams to actually do something. His chief action was to bring back the street crimes unit...but to change them from plain clothes to uniformed. Think about that.
Adams was nominally a cop once...but it's always nebulous what he actually did. It sure doesn't seem like it was the actual business of policing..
Once upon a time there were enough people to realize what Dinkins was doing...and to bring the city back from the brink. (And Dinkins was a nice, intelligent guy who was just not up to the task. Adams and de Blasio are quite different.)
Don't believe there are now enough people left to realize what is even happening before it is too late.
Snake Plissken for Mayor!

New Yorkers continue to vote for these candidates then wonder why later. Then, they do it again. They voted for a mayor who was all in with sanctuary city status. Now he's bitching that he doesn't have the resources for all these illegals. Wants the Feds to step in. I have to pay for this garbage in NYC that the mayor wanted? He was elected anyway and most likely will get re-elected.

I've watched hundreds of police apprehension and bodycam videos. This particular video is quite common. Here are some conclusions:
1. Women should not be out on the beat or in the cruiser. Most are useless in these types of situations, as was the female officer in this situation. Many make the situation worse, where their male partners not only have to worry about the suspect, but also the safety of their female partners.
2. The dehumanization of cops campaign that ramped up even higher the last couple years has only encouraged more of the behavior of bystanders that you see in that video. Time and again in black neighborhoods, bystanders either refuse to help officers, encourage perps to attack them, or join in on the assaults. People were shocked by that video of the four year-old last week when he was swearing at and kicking the cop. They shouldn't be. The kid has been socialized to think and behave like this.
3. You can see the reluctance of the other officers to use weapon/force that was needed in that situation to prevent the cop from possibly suffering serious injury. People are maimed every week after having their heads bounced off of the floor after a punch or after being dropped on their heads. If not a gun, then certainly a baton or taser. We all know who is to blame for this unwarranted reluctance. Those folks need to own their votes, of course.

I would add that the cop is almost certainly going to find an injury that will cause him to go out on disability and the city will have to hire a replacement, all because of lax crime policies that increase assaults on officers.
…supposedly concerned about gun violence...and just let go on a robbery charge that included physical attack of the victim. He was immediately let off for attacking and beating a cop. Think about the impact of that...both on criminals and police.
Crime is up 37% under Adams over deBlasio, who was also useless. Crime is up 53% in the subways...where Adams supposedly was a transit cop...though nobody can seem to detail any arrests he was involved in.
Adams is a speechifying joke…whose main concern is clubbing. He would be calling Hochul to task…if he actually cared.
no punching and no choke hold while being pummeled.
His partner seemed a little late to respond although she may have still been battling with the female.
Finally, an appalling lack of bystanders coming to his aide.
Lucky a gun or taser was not take from officer.
