it. They pushed it to the states, which is constitutionally sound. Some states will put it on the ballot, others will have it go through a legislative process, which in the grand scheme of things, is like putting it on a ballot. Quit trying to make it a federal issue and allows states to do what the people of the state want to do. I, for one, am against all abortions; it makes no sense to me personally to say it is wrong morally to have an abortion but then tie exceptions around it.
We also do not believe that a "one size fits all" approach by state legislatures in criminalizing those difficult decisions is prudent. See Kansas yesterday -- rejecting a "one size fits all" approach.
And gag us with the malarkey that abortion is not a constitutional issue.
Utter nonsense to let 50 state legislatures sort it out for themselves.
Read Breyer's dissent in Dobbs.

BTW, when does life begin? Anybody from Kansas want to chime in on this?
Extremism is always a red flag for voters.
The GOP will shoot itself in the foot if they send extremist crazy candidates to the November elections.
Compare/contrast a GOP candidate like Glenn Youngkin.
That type of extremism (of Dems) should be a red flag.

I called this before and I believe some said this shouldn't be put on the ballot. It's clear the the majority of American people believe some version of abortion should be legal.

There were no other competitive races.
This was abortion - and it is a sign that ought to worry the GOP…

the outcome is exactly what Dobbs v Jackson is about.
I realize that you don't understand this, but you aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

impediment to real progress in reducing the number of abortions.
The statistical reference I regularly post...i.e. 80-90% of Americans insist that abortion be legal in at least some cases is not a "Popularity Poll"...it is an expression of their morality...if you have an ounce on intellectual integrity you'll seek to understand WHY that is, was and will be.
This issue will continue to be discussed...start doing your homework.

Of course, my first concern is human life.
My point regarding Dobbs stands. Debate the merits or spew radicalism about something you claim to be above caring about personally. Your choice. But my statement stands unassailed.
