There was already a high probability the motion to unseal will be granted.
It's not like the target of the search warrant -- who broadcast its execution -- has veto power over the Court.
Hence, optically, he had little choice other than to say "I have nothing to hide" -- meaning no matter what was recovered = no biggie = government overreaching = I am a victim = Don't trust the FBI or DOJ
