Guy is a convicted sex offender. History of violence. Sucker punches an innocent bystander for no reason. Victim is undergoing brain surgery today, while the perpetrator has already been released back into the public, even though we have video of the crime. Why?

Actually, your whataboutism makes no sense. Defunding the FBI will enhance law and order. The Dems encourage disorder and oppose the law through the FBI, and through no bail for violent offenders (to focus on only the two examples at play here).
