Student Loan Forgiveness is for the borrower, not the parents of the borrower.

So, the whole 125,000 litmus test is ridiculous... how many recent grads are already at that income level? If married, how many recent grad joint filers are at 250,000? This is disgusting and is strictly to buy votes in the mid-terms... it is a disgrace to our country. What little momentum SCOTUS gave the left with the RvW overturn, Biden and his handlers just gave more back to the conservatives. Unfortunately, this is more damage that cannot be undone.

If people can be bought like this, and this gets votes for the Democrats, then there is no hope for our country, so we might as well learn that now. It is just a race to destroy the country like the communists did to the Soviet Union.
If people recognize this outrageously disgusting stupidity for what it is (bad for inflation, bad for debt, encouraging bad behavior, covering up failures of the Biden administration), and this gets votes for the GOP, then there is hope for the country.
Funny (and sickening) watching the WH press sec. try to avoid answering where the money is going to come from. The fact that they didn't think anyone would ask that question tells you they didn't think about it either.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

  Again, forgiving student loans in exchange for public service or nonprofit service is a noble proposal.

    If this goes the Dems way, it would be a definitive indicator that we are on track to destroy the Republic, not a cause of the destruction of the Republic.
    Your covid test doesn't cause sickness. But, it does indicate sickness. I assume you agree.
    It is a bit more than a test, though. In this case, if this buys votes for Dems, I suppose it is a contributing factor to that destruction. Certainly not the final definitive destructive blow, but it indicates that the voters will just vote themselves money without any concern for the good of the Republic.
