I remember Boener and his ground lichen bringing a health care plan to Americans. A couple of pages with bullet-point ideas in triple spaced large font that were no more than not so catchy phrases like, “make more doctors available to all Americans”.
Unfortunately for Boener, there was no mention of policy or implementation of anything.
Other than lowering taxes for Corps and the very wealthy, Rs have failed miserably in producing anything close to workable policy or policy for all Americans.

Any policy I would push would be heavily libertarian, anti-debt, and require a blindfolded lady justice.
I confess to having no expertise on this.
But I have always favored the idea of "National Health Insurance." I don't like the idea of the government owning and operating the nation's hospitals, medical centers, doctor's offices. But I do like the idea of everyone having easier access to H.C.
I've seen ideas floated over the years for how this would work. Competition and access across state lines. You could buy in tiers, but everyone would be required to buy the minimum (to cover the major incidents or conditions).
But to your point, no one who actually makes policy has outlined such a proposal. Shame on us.
I liked McCain's idea.
Fix the difference in tax benefits between insurance obtained through your job versus insurance obtained by you. Allow National insurance, rather than the state-based system currently.
I would add that health care providers can only charge one fee to all users for anything. Currently there is a vast difference between what an uninsured person is charged for an x-ray versus what an insured person is charged. This is bullshit. Everyone should get the same rate.
Finally, expand Trump's initiative to have providers publicly post their rates. Allow better comparison shopping.

The problem with the GOP is, they haven't worked on policy in decades so they won't have anything
nearing what this country needs - I expect it will be, Tax cuts for corps and uber wealthy and attacks on the Biden admin and D's in general.
And at the top and bottom will be DONATE buttons to the GOP and Trump.
