In actuality, Mr. Malpass admitted (9/22/2022) that he accepted humanity's role in CC, but only
after significant 'prodding' by others. Given his reluctance, it's an open question as whether or not he'd actively support the shift away from burning Fossil Fuels...a key issue for any World Bank President...IMO, he needs to make a very public statement on his commitment to that end before calls for his replacement end.
Pass a law banning financial entities from lending to fossil fuel projects, if you can.
If you can't, stop trying to brow beat them into complying with your pet projects.
I'd be astounded by the stupidity of the left pursuing this crusade at this moment if I wasn't already aware of their robotic programming to pursue the agenda at all times. Europe is going to have a hard time heating water this winter and you want the World Bank to stop funding pipelines and LPG terminals. Moronic.
Google the WB Report "The Role of LNG in the Transition Toward Low and Zero Carbon
Transport"...the World Bank has a 'Climate Change' division and it IS funding LNG installations, etc., as a TEMPORARY, SHORT TERM bridge to an environment that does not burn Fossil Fuels.
