Getting off an airplane is not a workshop in nuclear science. The mobile stairs are rolled up to the aircraft and adjusted to the exit door, the brakes are set, someone runs up the stairs and knocks on the passenger door to indicate the stairs are in place while simultaneously the bus rolls up to the bottom of the stairs and then the attendants on board tell the passengers, in Spanish, to pick up their belongings, exit the plane, go down the stairs, get on the bus and not to leave anything behind. Day or night it is the same process and it seems to me that people would be less bewildered in the daylight versus possibly tripping going downstairs at night.
I'll wait while you put your argument together about bright lights at night being more luminous than midday sunshine.
