I bet Brey always tells his team either at halftime or some other point that the other team WILL make a run...so the team expects it and subconsciously makes it happen.

You guys talk about games as though the coaches were playing Xbox, and there were no other humans involved.
If you're kidding, I apologize.
But not all coaches are perfect, and a lot of coaches warn their players that the other team is gonna make a run. I'm guessing that Brey is in this category. If so, instead I'd like to see the message, "let's double the lead."
I wasn't focused on you/Brey in particular, or even ND fans/ND sports. I see it everywhere. I live in Pittsburgh, and I see the same thing in all sports and find it maddening.
