With the shooting from Beacham and Farrell today. And Colson had his usual quiet excellent production.
But for the life of me I cannot fathom why Brey left his starters in the whole game.
I thought that they might have to fight just to sneak into the NCAA tournament, because I had concerns about replacing Jackson at the point guard and the Irish's lack of size. The lack of size still might be a problem going forward, but Farrell has been unbelievable. I defy anyone to claim that they predicted that he would be this good. I think that he has not only replaced Jackson, but is in fact a better point guard.

So far Farrell is a much better point guard than DJ. DJ also was asked to do a lot. The offense ran thru him and he was the prime scorer. Farrell is asked to move the ball and create shots for others. His quickness to the basket is unreal and others are getting their looks solely because of him.
Tuesday is a big game from a psychological standpoint for Brey. Bennett has his number and Brey needs to prove he can out coach his nemesis. Looking forward to this matchup.

I worry about Ryan as he is coming into the game and forcing the shot every time he handles the ball. If they keep moving it around, he will get open looks and could be a real bright spot.
Also not sure why he left those guys in. Maybe scared that the Cuse would make a run or he just hates Boeheim.
