He is hands down the biggest A hole I've ever met.
That is all.

I gained a lot of knowledge and respect for the current basketball staff. Our offensive fundamentals are as good as any program in the country.
The only unfortunate part of this clinic was putting up with Phelps, who I'm pretty sure invited himself. None of the current assistants had anything good to say about him. They basically made it sound like he is nothing but a headache for our staff.
He was a complete arrogant ass to all the high school coaches in attendances. He is the most insecure individual I have ever met in my adult life. We were all invited to join the staff for a night out in South Bend, and I literally thought this guy was going to get punched by one of the clinic's attendees. He told everyone in attendance they were basketball dummies who could never coach in college. He always seemed interested in getting to know where you reside, and then make your municipality sound like a wasted cow town.
After making himself out to be the biggest ass in the room, few were quick to point out the end of his pathetic era at ND. We were sure to remind him of the old Holy War game (his piss poor defensive transition game cost us that one).

about 8 years in a row and I do think he has great knowledge of the game. He is respected by Bobby Knight and that says a lot. If you kiss his ass enough he will be nice to you. I did love the way that he could beat Coach Wooden on the road with a team of lesser talent, let alone upsetting them at home. I was told that the leprechaun was in the UCLA layup line before the game and the UCLA players were happily including him. What a riot!

point lead against North Carolina but it was in their back yard. The 79 game speaks for itself, made Danny Ainge's career, but too much blame was placed on digger on that play. The team should have been ready and I am sure they were coached to be ready. They just choked. The thing that is not ever mentioned about that game was that Tripucka was making everything he took and at clutch times and he did not get the ball enough.
