Excellent win...Great to see so many players step up. Brey is a class act. The ACC is an average league which might allow the Irish to survive the season without Colson and make the tourney.
That was a nice feel good story last night, but NC St. was awful and/or just quit in the second half, so that put a bow on the loss of Farrell. He is already out for Syracuse, and who knows how long after that game. His loss cannot be understated.
I haven't watched them this year, but a brief look at their schedule/results says they aren't terrible. KenPom has them at #90 which isn't great, but beating that team by 30 without your two best players is still notable.
Farrell played most of the first half. I would contend NC St. came out flat and cold which the ND players exploited after the first 5 minutes of the second half. Can't explain how they beat Arizona in that tournament, but Arizona was awful at that time as they succeeded to lose to SMU and get blasted by Purdue. But, that team that ND beat last night will finish near the bottom of the ACC. ND has to hope Farrell doesn't miss more than a couple of weeks or it's going to be pretty ugly. A good indicator will be against Syracuse this weekend. Syracuse isn't very good.
at their place but it is not easy ever. They are capable of having bad games, hopefully there will be one here.

fundamentals and can make free throws but limited. Harvey has to grow up quickly. Gibbs has ability and is only getting better, but he needs to be a little more consistent. We really need that consistency now.
