If they're in on other good prospects who are likely four-year players, I'd prefer the latter, because Stewart won't be. Tre Mitchell looks like a smoother, more refined Bonzie, so I'd be thrilled to get him.

The scouts who talk to these kids all the time have a much better sense. I remember twenty years ago, the newspapers kept building up a Kentucky high school player, J.R. Van Hoose, as an Indiana or ND possibility and I thought he was the big guy ND wanted. Then I spoke to a scout and he downplayed it and said that this Troy Murphy was a stronger bet and, voila. Man, did we get luck with that one.
Very little objectivity. He makes excuses in advance for likely failures. This, however, was a combination of trying to convince us that Brey could recruit a 5-star, plus pure surmise, based upon geography. But, as I have little knowledge of BB recruiting, I bought it. Shame on me.
