There are some guys starting or playing a lot of minutes who should be bit players. There's also more of an athleticism deficit than we've seen in recent years. It's going to be tough for Gibbs having to be the first option on offense. He hasn't been in that position for any length of time before this. This is a nice freshman class, but a team like this needed someone who could step in right away and score a lot of points and they don't have someone ready to do that. It's easy to see, though, why Carmody is the one getting the start. He's the most prepared on both ends of the court and looks able to hold up strength-wise right off the bat.
