This team is not improving at all.

But I don't get the sense History will repeat itself.
He just seems cozy and complacent.
This off-season will be huge for the program.
Agreed, but I just do not see that happening next season. I hope I am wrong.
last 3 minutes He missed a foul shot, bricked a couple threes, got a layup snuffed, another attempted lay up got tied up...Maybe worst player Ive ever seen at ND..
How anyone can believe this will get better next yr is beyond my wildest comprehension..Oh, they'll be marginally better just by virtue of being a yr older, but this roster will NEVER be good enough..
is very important for point guards and centers. He should learn unless he is brain dead. A couple of weeks ago a lot of people were raving about how he played in a game. He is very athletic but very raw as far as basketball common sense. I assume he will learn as well as make the physical improvements to become a better shooter. He arcs the crap out of the ball whereas most of the other guys shooting flaw is shooting too flat.
in other posts, is also a sad reflection on the head coach..Its mind boggling Brey doesn't address this
Brey has to held accountable, but he is not. Mystified why he is not talking more heat for his lack of coaching. I just do not get it.
Perhaps the worst option to try to win the game. Or maybe his selfishness took over, I don't know.
I mean just call a TO, AND take the ball out of his hands..
Yes. These guys should know what the situation is and what the options are. Driving wildly to the basket against three defenders is not a good option.
I have noticed a tremendous lack of discipline and good decision-making in college basketball for quite some time, now. I often see players, specifically guards, from all teams fake a guy into the air and drive around him, and instead of taking an easy 10-15-footer, keep driving to the basket against multiple and taller defenders. Gibbs is a prime example as he often drives wildly to the basket and has about a 10% success rate. It seems Hubb has learned from Gibbs. Why Brey hasn't reigned this in is beyond me.
