basketball. I said he had the best basketball sense on the team. He can hit threes and make moves with great timing and hit the mid range. Laczewski was unbelievable in first half then got cheapshotted and is out for second half. Tubb getting better all the time. The only two that did not play to their level of ability were Gibbs and Mooney.
It is only the end of the first half.
will be the issue. That, and no, zero, recruits on the horizon.
will turn it around. He is a very determined athlete who I think felt he had to carry the team this year after Pflueger and Carmody went down and put too much pressure on himself in trying to make plays. Gibbs had improved very much from his freshman to sophomore years and took a step back this year because he was trying to do too much. I think he will bounce back next year. Laczewski has basketball ability and should get stronger, Durham needs to get stronger, Goodwin is better than many people think because he has timing , body control and has a solid amount of talent in every area of basketball including fundamental rebounding skills. Pflueger, though lacking basketball talent has a an attitude that enables him to make key plays. Mooney is turning himself into one of the best big men in the country. This team will get better every year.
Hubb had six assists and two turnovers. He has a 2-1 assist to turnover ratio for the season, playing essentially as a high school senior against ACC competition. I know none of that makes sense to you, but trust me, it means something opposing coaches scouting the team.
And could find nowhere where billybaroo said Connaughton couldn't shoot, unless it was in a post where he didn't mention his name.
that many years ago, I doubt you do. Gibbs as a junior has been a disappointment. He was supposed to lead this team with play making, but his shooting and ability to break down defenses has been poor. Pretty confident this was his worst shooting year.
Hubb will improve as a play maker, but he hasn't shown to be much of a shooter or with much range. The stats back all of this up.
In five years, you'll also forget all the things you get wrong today. That's the amazing thing about the Internet, it doesn't how many times people like you get everything all wrong, no one ever reminds everyone of this fact the next time you unleash your evaluations and prognostications.

potential, not just making threes but blocking shots and keeping them in play so he or his teammates got the ball. When he went out after playing well I think the team lost confidence. Plus Goodwin showed his basketball skill, including timing in conjunction with body control, which is the never mentioned trait a player may have that makes him look better than his pure athletic skills. Hubb scared the hell out of me in the second half as I was hoping he would not try to do too much which he did again but hung in there just enough. Gibbs better come through tomorrow, Mooney played well with his usual solid consistency, Durham did what he does well and read the weak side shot block at the end perfectly. I still wish he would not block the ball out of bounds and luckily he didn't there and I wish he was stronger but maybe by next year he will be. That post player from Georgia Tech was awesome and it was a bit of a cheap shot that took Laczewski out of the game, from number 4.
I wonder what the status of Harvey is, the team must have been playing hurt against Pitt the final game.
hmm, that's tough ask.
will see if He has a good game as the sixth or seventh man tonight.

down to a 1 possession game...I guess they are so shorthanded, Laszewski's loss was crippling, hope he plays tomorrow nite..Still baffling they can shoot so good in 1st half, then go 8-24, 2nd half, at least that's where they were near end of game..I guess the "bricklayer" in them will always emerge..
