Hunter Dickinson is going to announce his decision soon. Speculation for weeks has been that it's between Michigan and ND. Michigan is playing great right now, which probably hurts, but ND has been there from the beginning and there is no shortage of warmth between DeMatha and ND. I'd still bet that the long-term connection and the certainty of big playing time as a freshman favors ND, but who knows?
If you scroll down, you can See that previous target Terrance Williams has de-committed from Georgetown and re-opened his recruitment. ND is among the teams that have contacted him.

And there are a lot of good players who choose mediocre or bad programs.
The coach and program at Michigan is rising. This is a no-brainer for a kid who has been very deliberate in his decision.
I really doubt Swarbrick would fire Brey. It would have to be Brey resigning. Or maybe a situation like with K at Duke back in 94-95, or whenever it was. Take a year off.
We speculate about it, but there are no articles out there speculating on it at all. To most, ND is at an ordinary 6-2, like many teams.
ND is getting smoked at home today by a team they were a double digit favorite over. There is no indication that with the players ND currently has and will get, that the future isn't very bleak. Recruits know this.
Troy Murphy, for instance.
Dickinson has stated that playing time is a big factor. He's also mentioned how Brey has sold that the offense would be a lot of four out, one in if he comes to ND. Duke can sell playing time to him all it wants, but he and the people around him have to know that they will recruit over him without a second thought. I don't think Michigan can offer that role in the offense, but no question, their trajectory is up right now.
