Those would probably be my first three calls if Brey steps down. I realize Fran doesn't set the world on fire in recruiting, but he's a good coach, with experience turning around several programs, who has ties to ND. I doubt he'd come back, but I'd make the call.
I think the Digger-Hurley disconnect is long dead. Even though UConn is headed back to the Big East, an ACC job is more prestigious.
Moser turned down a big offer from St. John's, but perhaps being able to stay close to Chicago, along with an ACC job, might entice him?
Wojo is a good recruiter. Marquette currently has the #11 rated class by 247.
Ed Cooley doesn't necessarily fit the mold of great recruiter, but he is a good coach and he has been at Providence awhile, and might be looking for a move.
