Him missing layup after layup, 3 after 3 & playing out of control was such a joy to watch.
He can't run the offense at all. Look at the points Brey has had over the years, they were all the key to the offense. Hubb holds onto the ball far too much, always looks for his shot, and can't play defense.

All those starters, save for Laszewski, should be on the bench. Play the freshmen, along with Djogo or even Morgan, if those guys will play harder and play more intelligently than the guys in front of them, because this is just atrocious basketball. I can go back to the wilderness years of the early/mid 90s, and each and every one of those teams played harder and played better defense. They were just completely outmanned. There's no excuse for being at the bottom of the conference.
If the rationale for retaining Brey is that he ought to get to coach the current juniors to the end, they aren't playing too hard for him. If the rationale is also that Blake Wesley and Paul Atkinson will move on, so be it.
