Skip Prosser's dream job was ND, and they were instead swayed by Doherty's hyperkinetic energy and nonstop messages to the AD during the Tournament that year. Tragically, Prosser died a few years later as a relatively young man, but he was a much better coach than Doherty, and I would argue, Brey. He left Xavier and was the last good coach Wake Forest has had since.
