I don't think it will happen anytime in the near future unfortunately.
I actually think Brey is a good coach and a really good influence on his players, but he recruits the wrong type of player for the current physicality of play that is necessary to make the NCAA Tournament consistently. That said, he isn't going to change, the last four years have been a waste, the cupboard will be bare next year and the future is bleak with his style of coaching. If the team literally looked as high as an 8 seed a few weeks ago, to out of the Tournament come Sunday, and he is still the coach of ND next year, then basketball is dead at Notre Dame. Heck, even the Baseball team has higher hopes than men's basketball.
You could see last night coming since the loss to FSU. It's been like a slow-moving train wreck.
