ND up 9 with the ball and a chance to go up by 11-12 points.
He fires up an insane idiotic shot from outer space and GU scores 7 straight.
This year ND is a spirited but slow thinking team with idiotic tendencies.
Not a good look for Shrews.
If not he’ll still score but ND will lose.
Of the three returning players, one is a former walk-on, and the other two have barely played over three years.
Burton is going to be an excellent player. He's already doing a lot of great things. He's the least of the team's problems, with J.R. and Tae Davis deserving honorable mention. They play hard and they have skills.
My index will be based on if they can string two or three wins together down the line during conference season. That seems improbable to most, but you might be surprised.
They need to smart up.
Cut me a break. You obviously didn’t play hoop. This isn’t pick-up on some playground with a bunch of buds. These kids are playing against similarly skilled players who have played together longer. I think the team is getting better. They have to get to know each other and to learn each others tendencies. The defense is improving. That takes less practice. It will keep us in a lot of games that we might have the chance to win. I remember Digger’s first year. These guys are so much better. I think the future looks very bright!
They need to smart up. The play I am referencing by Burton had absolutely nothing to do with "learning each other's tendencies".
Neither does poor shooting and poor shot selection.
There’s talent. They need to jell.
