One and Done means we don't become familar with the best players as they mature.
Jabbar and Walton dominated the sport for 3 straight years each (and would have for if freshmen had been eligible).
This is why March Madness has become such a crap shoot.

If you watch ND basketball regularly you should be able to name more than a few. However, if you asked me to name players outside of the ACC I would be at a loss.

I used to love the tournament. Now, I have zero interest, except for our women's team.

You will see more great plays in one game than the women's tournament will have and you will see
more ugly plays in one women's game than the men will have in their whole tournament.
With some exceptions, the men's game is too NBA-like, while the Women's
games seem to be more "pure" basketball. More sets run, pick/roll, give and go. Reminds me of the Princeton teams of years gone by.
