I have been involved in officiating for decades. I am at most "tryout days" in New England region for men's hoops. The people we do not take move on to try out for women's officiating. Most cannot truly ref a men's league at the local "Y". Thus, the dilemma of women's hoops. The refs are weak, have bad foul recognition, and just try to look pretty. The female refs, many are moved ahead too fast and no ready for the levels they are doing. Referring in WBB is brutal in 60% of cases.
to spot fouls.

Irish but I don't lose sleep over them like I do the football team.
The officiating is what is in any sport. That is why we have all the reviews we have today. Now, I may agree the feeling is so much different for ND football but the women's BB team is our best bet for a NC every year. Football as it stands now is just entering the discussion.
Clark is truly the savior of the poor WNBA play. So if you translate that to women's college ball it is lower than a men's Division III basketball. The whines and complains about football are because everyone knows college football is way more valuable and important than any other collegiate sport by far. Men's basketball is fun but still does not compare.
I will say Caitlyn Clark might finally allow the women's game to break even money wise but maybe not.
Your take on women’s sports is Neanderthal.
By your logic only a world champion is worth watching.
You refuse to acknowledge the competitive heart of
people who play at lower levels of proficiency.
Were you ever a champion in any sport?
were carried by the senior class we had. No state champions back then just conference champions. I did ok as a competitor in Karate when I was into it but that time is over. Thank you again for teaching me a lesson.
