led by double figures the entire game. 3 conference wins, 7 or 8 remains a possibility. Burton was terrific and the ACC is probably looking at 3 or 4 tourney bids.
You know it's bad when ND is the more physical team.
I am wondering when the lights will turn on.
He's playing major catch-up from the injury. You see glimpses of what he can do. He has superb floor vision. He's actually much more of a true point guard than Burton. Burton makes the occasional great pass, but he's overwhelmingly looking to score. Mohammed also understands defense well. He came from a really good prep program. The biggest things he needs to work on are dribbling and finishing with his left hand and his jump shot. By this point, you're never going to successfully remake a player's shot. It will be marginal gains, but he can add more arc and backspin. If you watch his shot, it's flat and it's sometimes rotating with a funky spin. There's an easy way to tell and that's how the ball comes off the rim on a miss. I've seen a couple of times where the defense was unable to rebound his shot because it flew off the rim in weird direction and ND got the offensive rebound.

Few players, least of all freshmen, have his court vision.
