I realize I am spoiled. When I arrived on campus in '67 for Law School, I was healing physically from injuries, but used to get in some nice 2 on 2 pickup games with varsity players like Bobby Arnzen, Bob Whitmore,Dwight Murphy.
They knew the game.
This team is the weakest in my memory. Burton has some nice skills which shine compared to present company. Most are 2 dribble guys. I define that as after 2 dribbles the help call goes out on 911. They are lost or turn it over. Big guys have hands like feet. The coach's kid could be 5th man at Williams or Middlebury.
To see ND basketball left with a cupboard so empty is sad. I am healthier at my of just watching reruns of Matlock.
