If I were a mind-reader, I would think he'll have Kizer lead them until he reaches the inner red-zone (10 yards or fewer), and then have Zaire get it into the end zone from there.
Thoughts?
Kelly lets Zaire the starter and somewhat leader of the offense get the first snap and couple of series. Then I think he goes with Kizer and they basically split series vs Texas and Nevada. Then if somebody has won the job by then they start vs Michigan State and the rest of the games.

He said he didn't care who had the hot hand marching down the field (if they do just that), he'll use the QB who best runs the O in the red-zone. I think is Zaire but Kizer was effective at times in the red-zone last year.
Though I'm more of a Zaire fan (both really) I expect Kizer to start but then I assume TX will try to force ND to run the ball against them so we'll see a lot of Zaire after the first series. Just an opinion.
