This isn't the first time Kelly has lost the team. Last time, Swarbrick brokered peace with the players for Kelly via a strong leader - Manti Teo.
Fire him now, please.

coordinator who is a great coach as well as a great recruiter. I don't believe Kelly has forgotten how to coach. Coaches sometimes call out players to put a fire under them.

"I'm tired of people saying coach Kelly threw the team under the bus. From what I saw he's challenging them to be tougher and more passionate"
"And if people have a problem with a coach challenging his team publicly then people are becoming too soft"
The players do need to be called out. But the coach can't be so egotistical as to always point the finger elsewhere. Kelly's comments post Swarbrick meeting don't count. He's trying to put the toothpaste back into the tube now.
He's the kind of player the Irish need. Not soft, pampered, drama queens. Looking forward to seeing Jeter dominate!!!!

able to have some sort of "sit down" with the players and they got back on the same page. He better exercise his 'magic' again real fast. We'll likely know this Saturday if he's lost this team or has somehow managed to rally them. I'm not extremely optimistic about a rally.
