Swarbrick is the wrong guy. It is Swarbrick who choose him and gave him an extension.

It was a quality hire that just didn't pan out.
As long as he handles getting rid of him appropriately and makes another qualit hire, he is fine.
Does the HR guy at a company get fired every time someone at the company gets fired? No.
If there is a trend or if the HR guy missed something in the vetting process, then it's a different story. That's not the case here, as athletics as a whole are doing very well, despite one quality hire not going as planned/desired.
that is a major contradiction. He made a big mistake and set us back a few years. He is not you or me, amateurs at best,
He's on the inside and should know. As for your remarks about HR and comparing them to a head FB coach. There is no comparison in any way.
The job title's are different, etc. I'm not going into that but there is no comparison.
But last year's Fiesta Bowl should have shown Jack that the team's level of play is still not that different from 2001, 2005, 2006, or 2012, (i.e., a level or two below) and the extension should reflect that fact.

that's when he should have pulled the plug. Or at least started to look around. But we don't know what was said on the inside.
Maybe BK said it was just talk to enhance his position with recruits.
