No one has any idea whether Brian Kelly will be back next year at ND. No one knows what Swarbrick really thinks of him. No one knows if Kelly "lost" the team. No one knows whether Brian Kelly wants to be at ND next year or not.
But it sure is fun listening to everyone.
The dump Kelly stuff is picking up steam for what it's worth

I'm sure a 12-0 Notre Dame team would have been littered with articles with the headlines "Off-field issues mar a perfect season for Notre Dame".
I'm sure of it.
USC had a guy kick someone in the balls against Bama (a la Tillery), two players were kicked off the team on suspicion of rape (one was charged with multiple counts of rape), another lineman punched a ref during a game, and JuJu Smith apparently got into a fist fight at practice.
Where are the articles about unhappy boosters and trustees who are tired of Helton embarrassing the school? No where, because they won 8 straight games. Give me a freakin break with the off field issues crap. It's about the wins and the losses.
(no message)
rest is only wishful thinking. Frankly, there's not much new ground to cover at this point.
Let's face it, Kelly will be the coach in 2107, and if he wins 9 games, he will be the coach in 2018. Swarbrick made his statement of support earlier this fall, and Kelly said he would be back, both after the game in L.A. and later in the statement released by the ND media department.
I am unhappy about it, as is probably 95% of all ND fans. But clearly our opinion does not matter. It is the opinion of Jenkins and Swarbrick that matters, and their opinion is that Kelly will be back.
After everyone concedes conjecture is a total waste of time, guess who chimes in with some more conjecture.
