Well I guess that puts the debate to rest-for a little while anyway. Cannot say I'm surprised.

When ND gets another coach and a new AD, I might tune back in. Until then, I'm not going
to waste my time or energy watching the Kelly shit show. ND fans deserve better than the mess
Swardick not only supports but helped create.
It is more than just wins and losses. And it ain't about one bad season. It is about having a winning attitude,
believing in integrity, and possessing a commitment to excellence. I just don't see it with Kelly, Swardick or ND's administration.
As long as everybody is getting a nice big fat paycheck, I honestly believe they don't give a rat's ass about the fans. And they
certainly are not giving 100% to the ultimate goal of winning a national championship. 8 and 4 with a full stadium is good
enough for them.

"...We had a discussion on the night after the game when the reports came out, and I was sort of -- I fully understood the background of those reports..."
Not sure what to make of it, but out of context it sure doesn't sound like Kelly wasn't looking around after the USC game this year. It sounds more like he was and JS needed some understanding and comprehension of BK's intentions.
"I fully understood the background of those reports" is not a resound, "it never happened" type statement.
I think Kelly told Swarbrick that it was agent that was contacting other schools without his knowledge. Once he heard the reports, he told his agent to stop. I think Swarbrick is saying that he understands that this is what agents do - always looking to see what is out there for their clients, and they often do this without the clients knowledge.
In other words Swarbrick either bought this hook, line and sinker or he is pretending that he believes Kelly.
