The Stanford game is the one that drives me nuts. He was back from a couple weeks missed due to injury and had a burst that Adams (nursing his own injury) didn't have, yet they barely gave it to him.
I never understood why Brian Kelly didn't use him more on passing downs, either. It looked like he had the best understanding of pass protection among all three RB's. Adams and Williams were no slouches in that department, but Folsten looked much better as a blocker than either of the others.
Adams is faster and as such a more dynamic player in the pass game, but he had several drops. I don't recall Folston ever dropping a ball at ND.
