But I was referencing Atlanta.
That 4th quarter could have been almost any one of our loses this year - Virginia Tech immediately came to mind.
Now Tom has passed Joe.
First of all, that Brady character went to Michigan ok? So that right there opens him up to constant ridicule and cynicism. Take 10% off of all of his accomplishments. Make it 20%.
Second of all, Joe went 4 of 4 in Super Bowls and never threw an interception. Three times MVP and the one time he wasn't he threw for 357 yards, 2 touchdowns, including the game winner, and of course no picks BECAUSE HE DOESN'T THROW PICKS IN THE SUPER BOWL UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE WHO WENT TO MICHIGAN.
Third of all, he played in an era where they didn't create rules to protect his candy ass, like not being able to hit QB's in the legs or touch his face, like some pretty boy who went to Michigan.
Fourth of all, Oh, Joe Montana had Jerry Rice. Not in 81 and 84 he didn't. And Brady had Randy Moss and lost ok? To freakin Eli Manning. And Plaxico Burress, who went to Michigan State.
And finally, Tom Brady went to freakin Michigan.
Feel free to ban yourself any time.

We're all thinking it and yeah he's got more rings and all that but that doesn't mean we have to give him credit for it here. I for one and perfectly comfortable with continuing to call Joe Montana the greatest of all-time . We do live in the age of alternative facts you know.

Good for him to admit to the team at the hotel he blew it though.
I wonder how San Francisco fans are feeling about this hire now versus last week.

balls that looked to be sure interceptions. How about the three defensive holding calls that kept one touchdown drive going. All on third down when a no call probably would have been just as likely a call?
Run the damn ball, work the clock, kick the field goal and you win the game. Instead they pass and get sacked. Then after getting enough yards back to kick a FG they get called for a hold.
That sequence right there is so Notre Dame 2016 style.
They were at the 23, which is FG range. Run it 2 more times, force NE to use 2 TOs, then kick the game-winner.
Both play calls were equally horrible.
Instead of trying to deliver a knock out blow with both plays, they gave the game away.
RUN. THE. FOOTBALL.
They handed it to them and sucked all the air out of their lungs and lost composure. I'm not losing sight of how good New England is, but what Atlanta did is typical of high school mistakes.
had first and one against New England with Marshon Lynch in the backfield. He was not stopped at all that day and Seattle called a pass from the one. Worst call of all time and it was made by a great coach.
