the 2017 Heisman. Guess that means Josh Adams' odds are a tad higher. He better average about 175-200 bills a game just to
get on Heisman radar. I guess it's possible and something we'd all love to see.
More important, the QB situation is pretty clearly defined, which is a welcome plus. We know who the starter is barring an injury or catastrophic meltdown in Wimbush's part, so the offense can be tailored to his strengths. The only real question is who will emerge as the backup. Two downsides do exist. One, competition is almost always a good way to bring out the best and I don't see anyone pushing Wimbush seriously. Second, if Wimbush gets hurt or has a meltdown, especially early in the year, I don't think Avery would be ready to step in and I'm not sure if Book would be either. The lack of a ready to play backup could affect how Wimbush is used, not allowing him to run as much for fear of getting him hurt.

That said...I think Wimbush is going to be really good.
Talent at WR
Great 1-2 punch at RB
Super-talented OL (please let them fire out BK)
Offensive minded coach
If the defense can at least sit in the upper 50thof the country versus the lower 50th (stop read and reacting crap) -- this team has a chance at having a really good record and him getting that notoriety and pub. He'll have the numbers...

two biggest screw jobs.
The Heisman wasn't a big deal in Hornung's time. Paul has said that when the SID told him he'd won, he didn't even know what the award was for.
done. Josh has a great attitude and work ethic for a young man. He is tough and has a knack for breaking long runs: He doesn't need 30 carries to gain 200 yards. Tony Jones will help tenderize defenses, he is a battering ram (a runningback with a linebacker brain).
