Hey everyone,
In case you haven't been to the homepage recently... go on over and check it out. We rolled out a brand new layout tonight! It may be a touch slow at the moment because all 3,000+ images we've used over the years had to be resized and reprocessed (that's still going on now) but it'll finish up shortly. Let us know your thoughts. We'll have a more formal post on the homepage later tonight/early tomorrow as well once things start really humming over there.

Nice job Frankie. UHND continues to up its game.
If only we had about 4-5 more hours in the day :)
Glad to hear you like the new design.
one beneath the "create new post" button. Is this by design or a mistake from the new design? Figured I'd let you know in case it's a mistake.

That should take care of the ad under the create new post button - it should be aligned to the far right. Ads moved around a bit and some of the code is similar so caching will have things misaligned a bit until a refresh. Same happened to me this AM and I almost sent Kyle a nasty IM :) Then I refreshed and all was better.

so the spacing between posts is double spaced, but then single space replies within a specific post.

On the forum, there shouldn't be a lot of ads loading and on the main site the ads should be integrated pretty well for the mobile experience.

Whenever you change designs some legacy styles that are cached in your browser can cause some hiccups like that.
i've used up my korean one....
I don't rely on my phone(Samsung Galaxy) a lot for this (other than occasional reading while my wife wanders aimlessly through Walmart) but I get a bottom banner on the forum.
I don't know if it is my phone (I really don't have issues with banners anywhere else) or UHND
Mobile screens make it difficult to incorporate ads b/c of the smaller size so that's one of the tradeoffs. We actually have a few ad units not displaying on mobile than we do on desktop so the ad in the footer replaces those on mobile devices.
The bottom banner was livable.
This new ad is not. If it stays as is, I won't be using my phone much for viewing the website.
I am guessing that either your phone isn't getting served the full mobile version of the page or for some reason the wrong ad size is being served to you on mobile. Either way sounds like a bug based on your explanation so the more info you can give us the better.
Phone is Samsung Galaxy 4 fyi
Hit me up on bmail and I'll send over an email addy to send it to.
Looks great. More in line with the SBNation blogs but I think it actually looks cleaner and I like that there is still some text when you scroll down.
