Link: Is Kevin Stepherson Notre Dame's Next Will Fuller?
I realize that he was in the car with the others, but I've also heard other concerns about his character, behavior, and academics. I'm not looking to trash the kid, but should we be concerned that he will remain eligible, out of Kelly's doghouse, and not in trouble with Student Affairs. Anyone have insight?
Other than being in the car with three other members of the football team who also were exonerated?

Like TJ, he's a little undersized but faster than average (TJ ran a 4.4 I think), runs great routes and has great hands. By the time Stepherson is an upperclassmen he could be that good.
Fuller is a really unique player based on his speed.. Stepherson already has better hands than Fuller, but not the take-the-top off speed against even elite CBs (Stepherson isn't running by Adoree Jackson).

I think he can take the top off of a defense better than TJ could though. Jones didn't get a chance to do that too much though having to play with Rees in 2013. Im surprised Jones hasn't done better in the NFL actually, I thought he would have a solid career. Didn't expect him to have a Pro Bowl career or anything, but I thought he'd be more of a regular rotation receiver by now.
With his route running ability he could get by faster DBs using technique over speed. Fuller though..had exceptional feet at beginning of his routes coupled with great speed. His sophomore tape against Michigan was unreal how he consistently won the battle at the line. Stepherson seems to have that ability with more consistent hands and if it's a slight downgrade in speed I'll take that.
was extremely quick as soon as the ball touched his hands and could start and stop on a dime. His ability to get back to fullspeed was amazing.
As a deep threat, for sure KS compares very well. It's early, but I didn't see KS show the same ability to take a screen to the house while weaving through 11 defenders at full speed. KS likely has better hands, still a problem for WF, but duplicating WF in college is a tall order.
Fuller was a speed guy as a freshman ala Golden Tate in 2007.
Stepherson was a bit more developed than Fuller from that perspective this past fall. If Stepherson wants to be, he can have a similar career to that of Fuller at Notre Dame. All fo the tools and talent is there.

Why is he in Kelly's dog house?
kid every year with the doghouse. So annoying at this point.
Just a heads up that the charts in this article get truncated on iPhone. I tried both Chrome and Safari.
All of the responsive plugins are in place. Going to dig a little deeper tonight.
