So far it seems poorly rolled out and implemented. Will it be better than the previous lottery system? Will the "low" priced seats sell out first? I guess that remains to be seen.
and more evidence of their arrogance and disregard toward their alumni base.
"Rolled out poorly" is an understatement. It hasn't been rolled out at all. If I didn't read ND internet sites (and the huge chunk of ND fans don't), I would even know that this new system even exists. We are roughly 10 days from the date the lottery applications are sent out and most haven't heard a thing about the new system. My brother and daughter (both monogram winners) haven't heard a thing.
It is not as if this is a small change. It is a seismic shift and ND has done nothing to prep potential buyers for this shift.
If they were actually thinking, they would have used the 1st year of tiered location pricing to understand buyer behavior. I think what happens is going to shock them. Personally, I think it will be interesting to see where I fall in their 'hierarchy.' I have two degrees from ND , am a member of 2 national championship teams have given modest amounts every year since I graduated. I am guessing all that matters is the size of your checks.

to find out when they could log on, what their new password was, and what day and time they would have the privilege of going on line to try to buy tickets and pick their seats..
I usually hear about the emails from my brother. I suspect it has something to do with the email preferences I set re: ND email. Unless I do something do manage it I get ND spam email once every other day. So I opt out as much as I can but I thought I left Athletics Dept okay and I wonder why I don't the emails.
I called and they gave me the info and said they were sending out regular mail anyway.
