Denver is destroying them. ND cannot win a face-off to save its life.

Expected it today. Denver has the best guy in the game right now. Tough to watch though.
They've had a solid upper echelon team for the last 8 years and the weak spot always seems to be the faceoff. The D is almost always good to excellent and would be that much better if they had to play fewer minutes and defend fewer offensive opportunities. The O isn't spectacular, but it pretty good and with Perkovic, Wynn and Garnsey not to mention the younger guys that have started stepping up, they could have been even better. Is it because we don't have as good of an offensive scheme or because we don't get as many reps because of the face off deficit? Either way, the O would improve significantly with more possessions. So is it bad luck or mistakes with recruiting or do other teams teach face offs better? Either way it's been a glaring weak spot on an otherwise very good team for years now.
