Let's face it we have experienced skilled athletes everywhere this year, we were very young last year and was very competitive in most games.
I personally think our defense will be a totally different look, and the kicking game may be the best we ve had in years,
I realize the negativity on this board, but let's face it Kelly knows offense, and can score points. Sit back and enjoy a special year, and stay positive (it's more fun).
Also, word is that Wimbush is the real deal, And look at our offensive line and running backs? What is there to not love about this team?
Let's go!
Kelly!
All of the changes that were made were necessary and positive, but whenever there is that much change all at once, it could take too long for all those changes start to work together.
All of the pieces are there for a 10 win season, but I have questions as to whether or not we'll drop an early game or two that we shouldn't as the team gets more comfortable with the new schemes on offense and defense. For all intents and purposes, we have a new coaching staff and new schemes on both sides of the ball. If it all comes together it should be a big bounce back year for Notre Dame.
I am having a hard time predicting a 10 win season but at the same time will feel extremely disappointed with anything less given the talent on the roster.
I still do not understand why Swarbrick did not fire Kelly, and start over. The only possible argument is that there was no one qualified available.

Go Irish! Hope you got the sarcasim. Love hearing some positive posts. I'm not looking through rose colored glasses. I think we will be pretty good this year also.
Lets face it Georgia will set the tone. I have a friend who's going to the game and he's a Georgia fan, he said they will bring at least 15000 fans, not sure how many will actualyy have tickets Go Irish!
